Zelle® collaborates with prominent banks and credit unions throughout the United States to provide a swift, secure, and user-friendly method for transferring money to your loved ones. The process is seamless, allowing funds to move directly from one bank account to another.

If your bank or credit union is a partner of Zelle, you can access this service within your mobile banking app or online platform. For those whose bank does not offer Zelle, the standalone Zelle app facilitates sending money to users who are already registered with their banks.

With just an email address or U.S. mobile number of the recipient, you can conveniently and securely settle payments with anyone you trust. One great advantage is that using Zelle is free of any service fees, although standard bank or mobile carrier fees may still apply.

To get started, follow these simple steps:

  1. Download the Zelle app.
  2. Enroll using a Visa® or Mastercard® debit card connected to a U.S. checking account, or
  3. Register your U.S. checking account using your online banking credentials, provided your bank allows this feature.
  4. Select the recipient by entering their U.S. mobile number or email address to make a payment or request funds.
  5. Verify the amount and press send. If your recipient is already enrolled with Zelle, they will usually receive the money within minutes. If they haven't enrolled, they will be alerted and can complete the payment easily by following the provided steps.

*Note: Some financial institutions permit enrollment through the Zelle app using your online or mobile banking login.
